Ok, ok ok…I’m writing. Well guess what, what happens when everything seems to be going right and yet you have this thought of “..but for how long?…”. Yeah, my advice…life is life, things will happen no matter what. Just enjoy the peace and be thankful for what you have…

Moving into a new home….life begins over again… the real intro

Just moved into this new home with my girl. We live here in Houston, Tx and I really like this city. I recently moved last June of 07 and it has been a smooth transition. This new house is really nice, its only like 3.7 miles from work ( according to Google Maps). Well I finally figured that I’m going to give blogging a chance. I mean the real reason I have never blogged before is because I have been afraid to just place my thoughts out there for everyone to see and read. Its just the invasion of privacy issues that I was thinking about but, I have decided that I want to reach out to the world and get some opinions, get in touch with some real people that have either been through those same issues or are willing to lend a helping hand. I mean I don’t want to sit here and type my whole life story…don’t get me wrong.. but I really want to use this blog to connect with new people, get feedback and just find out what I can do in my career path.

About me… I’m a 27 (march 19) year old Puerto Rican who loves IT in general… I have been in love with computers, technology, buttons, lights , gadgets ..you name it I love it, seen it, wanted it, or have it… I just can’t stop this, it seems that I have no life but I’m employed by one of the greatest cutting edge University that there is (my opinion ofcourse) and I currently attend there (online) full time. I have my associates in IT and I’m working on my Bachelors for IT/ software engineering. I love also to write code…yes I’m a code monkey and I like that. I mean to sit and write something that you can give life to, its just amazing. But I know this is my career path and I feel kind of alone out there without others like me. So… ( trying to not sound pathetic) I need new friends, people of my kind, people that are willing to push me to the next level and people that I can also lend a hand to from time to time. I will start this process by this post, I thank you for coming and I hope to see you again.

Oh by the way since you have come this way to find out more about me, I do have other interests other than IT. I love photography, when did this addiction start? don’t ask because I don’t know even myself. I mean one day it was like BOOM …” I want to take pictures” …(around 10 to 11 years old) and here I am today, taking pictures of everything. I will load some pics for you guys to let you see…Oh and I also have some in Flickr.com. But anyways I love taking pictures, if you like pictures let me see them I like looking at special shots, and all kinds of stuff. Well once again, thanks for coming I’m going to go to bed now. Its time to start another week of work and play! 

Man! I haven’t been here in a while!

Hey everyone, I haven’t blogged in a while since I’m very busy with life in general. Just to say online school, moving to a new state and balancing settling in with my new family is not an easy thing to do. I believe its just the work that is involved! I never thought that I really would go through so many changes in just a two years time. But I will fill everyone in as soon as I have more time. I have decided that I’m going to make it an action item every week to post to my blog and maybe to include people to see this…lol. I will also see about my facebook (which I don’t use much). But for now just to let you know…I …wait let me add that to the calendar now before I forget…(*calendar*)..ok…finally added that in…I have it set for me to add to my blogs and , (yes I said blogs), my mac site which needs to be updated….I feel like I need to virtualize myself…just for the sake of it. Oh, and I also have an Avatar in Second Life, his name is Avian56 Clip, so if  you guys are on there look me up.Well until later, thanks for coming by! 

Changes for the….what I’m going to Texas?

Well, it has been some time since I wrote, but I figure it’s almost time to get some sleep, so I decided to blog my way to bed. I am so amazed at the world today and the turns that it takes. Two years ego I was in Reno all with a different life than what I have today ( I will not say here due to confidential reasons). But, today I find myself in situations that I would not picture myself in. I will tell you this, around last year this time I was making around 12 dollars an hour fabricating metal using a laser machine that was not the best conditions to work in. This job required the lifting of around 80 to 100 pounds of metal continously, sweating till you had hardly any type of water left in your system and maybe a decent check after all of the overtime that was given. Not a real piece of work.

Now, I have climbed the heavy ranks of another company and I’m running a team of account managers who handle over 8 million dollars in revenue in California. Yeah that’s me, a Sales Manager…. not boasting here but there was alot that happend between all fo this and to tell you the truth, I didn’t expect it, I didn’t think of it, and I didn’t plan it.Now after making my way to this type of scenario I’m about to move to Texas to begin another life. Here around the Houston area I have been offered a job working for a friend of the family which I might make more than what I’m making now ( and it’s not even what I’m going to school for).

I don’t know if anyone reads these posts, but the reason I started writing was to just let out some thoughts in my head about the s*(t that happends in life. It just doesn’t make sence, it’s like I’m waiting for the big fall or something. I have had a preety decent streak of luck for a little while to a point (excluding fighting for my child’s custody) and I hope that I become as successful as I want to be. We will see then.

I want a Macbook

Ok I have decided what I want for Xmas. I want the new Macbook that I just found out about last weekend ego. Reasons I want one is because of the safety that it brings to my operating system. No viruses, no rebooting all the time to make sure all the programs work, and plenty of other stuff that I do on windows now. Not getting of the subject here but since I migrated myself (not printable fully) to Linux Ubuntu, I have developed a hate for windows. Back to the subject at hand. I want a Macbook because it is so nice looking and it is Unix based (there is a GOD!). I just don’t want to spend half of my life restarting and working on the bugs of a very picky and fragile operating system. I realy like the color black on it and the little apple icon. Well that is what I want for Xmas, and to let you readers out there know how badly I want it I would like to say that I want it like a kid wants to open his xmas presents with his name on them. Ok so you get the picture I’m very interested in getting one. Whether I’ll end up saving for it or “miraclelously” recieve one that will be something that will have to wait.
